Episode 36 - What I didn't do on my summer vacation

So, how was your summer?

Honest to god, I thought I would get so much more done this summer, but I feel like I barely managed to limp to the finish line. I was sooooooooo happy when school started and I finally had all day to myself. That was two weeks ago, and I am only now catching up on everything I didn't get done while I was busy chasing after two kids.

I'm finally settling into a regular schedule, and I hope to be a little more productive with this cartoon. I also hope to start work on building a new website, combining all my various sites and blogs into one easy to find spot where you can get all the cartoons and blog posts and other goodies at once. There will be the usual Cynical Woman madness, plus maybe some new stuff (i.e. some ADULT stuff). So stay tuned. I'll get that done. One of these days ;)

Yeah, kids can do that to you. Even adult ones with a school and now job hunting if they don't have a car of their own and no money to get one.
Love the cartoon.

Sapphire,

Thank you! I've still got some catching up to do, but it's finally starting to look like I'm back on track. Hopefully, by the end of the month, I'll be busy building that new website, and maybe getting started on another book!

Have you been peeking in my windows? Because that's me.

You will forgive me if the two schoolteacher family has absolutely no sympathy for you right now...See me in June!

Margaret,

That's it exactly! I've been so busy stalking you, I haven't had time to draw cartoons!

Nah, not really ;) I just think we all get this busy at times.

Will be working on the next cartoon very soon!

Anonymous,

Eh, not really looking for sympathy ;) I just could not believe how hard it turned out to be to try and get all my usual work done - writing, art commissions, podcasting - and have the kids home all summer. We never did settle down into a regular schedule, between camps and trips and everything else.

Hopefully, your workload and Mr. Anonymous' work is not too heavy this year, and hopefully we get to see you again before June!
